Dear IPQ Creator,

Hi, thanks for signing up (or volunteering to be a pitch hitter). This is the first time I'm doing IPQ so I'm excited and can't wait to see what you'll come up with. This letter is meant to be an overview of the things I like.

Some of my requests and prompts might be short but please note that I want them just as much as my longer requests. Don't worry about fitting my prompts exactly in any of my requests as I welcome different ideas with my requested pairings. I just ask that you stay in the general area of my likes and avoid my DNWs. I'm open to fic rated from G to E. In terms of fic length, I love anything from the small to long epics. For all of my requests, feel free to mix up the freeforms or prompts as you wish.

I like all kinds of genres and tone! Exploring emotions in narratives is a big draw for me, be it about dark themes or more lighthearted themes.

I love seeing how characters view the world around them and how they interact with others, positive or negative. Plotty fic would be great but I'm also just as happy with more introspective stories.

Smut Likes

As far as sex goes in general, I like any combination of anal, oral, rimming (for m/m), vaginal sex, breast/nipple play, handjobs, and fingering (in no particular order). I also enjoy slightly unrealistic sex. Sex that's unrealistic in terms of how much a character can come, how fast they can get it up, and handwaving that because it's magic/superpowers/alien biology is perfectly fine with me.

For vocabulary, I generally enjoy more explicit terms than flowery language and prefer "come" over "cum". Unless specified, I have no preferences about top/bottom dynamics. When it comes to smut, I love seeing focus on the emotions between characters, what the sex means for them, or general intense feelings.

By non-canon divergence, I mean alternate universes that change the setting and rules of the canon universe such as mundane AUs, A/B/O, IN SPACE! AUs, etc. or makes major changes to relationships such as making characters suddenly related (or vice versa).

Unrequested identity headcanons (gender, race, other) (Assuming flexibility with canon sexuality is fine.)

What I’d like to see in fic: There's so much potential in having a version of Tony interact with Peter (and MCU!Tony), especially a version that's more evil and willing do things that MCU!Tony wouldn't.

It would be great to read anything along the lines of him messing with Peter in that he looks so similar to MCU!Tony, but isn't actually him when it comes to the things that matter. For MCU!Tony being involved, SIM!Tony could use his feelings for Peter against him in some way. I would also be interested in MCU!Tony and 616!Tony being attracted to each other and MCU!Tony wanting to find out what it’s like to have sex with himself! There’s a lot of fun options here and I’m good with just about all of them.

I'm good with any consent level (especially softer dubcon for Peter/MCU!Tony and darker xcon from SIM!Tony). Pining — I have a big soft spot for Draco pining for Harry or mutual pining between the two of them. Pining when they’re still mostly enemies, when they’re finally friends and one of them is afraid of screwing up the friendship, or one of them sleeps with people that resemble their crush while the other finds out, they assume their relationship is just sex for the other, etc.

Hurt/Comfort — Harry and Draco dealing with their canon past hurt, Draco and Harry bonding over their experiences with Voldemort, one of them being temporarily injured in a battle or magic accident, angsty pining with the world getting in between them, nightmares of the war, imperfect attempts to comfort each other with mixed success, etc.

Mpreg: I love the thought of the two of them having a “with benefits” relationship and one of them gets accidentally pregnant and they end up dealing with that while growing closer. Wartime Ideas:

I would really enjoy seeing all the angst and tension between Draco and Harry being on opposite sides (or formerly so, in Draco’s case) in wartime fic while questioning if they can really trust each other!

Draco gets assigned to grow closer to Harry in sixth year and they end up in a relationship? Perhaps Draco grows increasingly guilty and has to make a decision about defecting from Voldemort as his feelings for Harry become genuine? Or maybe Harry has a hunch about Draco’s mission and takes matters in his own hands?

Alternatively, Harry thinks it’s a good idea to strike up a relationship with Malfoy trying to find out his secrets in sixth year.

Draco ends up on the run with Harry and his friends somehow and ends up Horcrux hunting. Maybe they’re all taken to a safe house when Draco accepts Dumbledore’s offer. Harry ends up rescuing Draco from being tortured or vice versa.

Draco ends up as a double agent and Harry is determined to find out if he’s truly trustworthy or not. Things spiral from there.

Hogwarts Ideas:

I would love anything involving the two of them getting into a relationship while still in a school setting (even better if it touches on the war).

They end up stuck in the Room of Requirement together and can only get out if they confess their feelings or have sex.

They end up using the Room of Requirement as the place to have sex with each other. Feel free to get creative with this!

They’re assigned to work together on a school project.

Post-War Ideas:

Draco and Harry end up working as Aurors together. Case fic would be great. Maybe they need to go undercover infiltrating a secret Dark arts club and have to act as a couple, or the two of them need to work out how to find a rising serial killer, or even one of them ends up getting hurt in the middle of a mission, etc.

The two of them are captains on rival Quidditch teams. I’d love to see them dealing with the press, how they interact with each other when off the field, if it turns into a fun game between the two of them while facing off each other, etc.

Draco gets sentenced to house arrest shortly after the war ends and Harry is assigned to him. Or, Draco ends up needing help while being shunned by the wizarding world, and out of a lack of options, is forced to ask Harry for it.

Harry and Draco, who have partners, have one night together with the intention of it never happening again. It ends up happening again and spirals from there.

Betting and challenges between the two of them that go too far.

Identity Porn — The two of them exchange letters in an anonymous letter service without knowing who the other is. They start having sex with each other in a gay bar while being charmed to not quite realize who the other person is until, eventually, they end up breaking the charm (or, in a more mundane way, they meet while at a glory hole and recognize each others voice only after sex has happened).

Soulbond: The two of them are now stuck together within a certain amount of space or they end up exchanging sensations. It’d be interesting to have this happen when they’re still enemies or on the run from Voldemort together. Have fun with this one!

What I’d like to see in fic: Harry Potter is one of my most favorite characters and I adore him. I’d love to get a fic that’s centered around him and I would be open to him interacting with a variety of people (I’ll list some options further down).

For Harry in particular, I love how he goes through a huge amount of terrible things in canon and manages to keep going even when it looks like the world is against him. I enjoy his moments of sarcasm and the care he has for his friends. I love the idea of him being great at dueling or getting to show off some of his skill with magic with others.

What I’d like to see in fic: I love how much these two care for each other and how, in my eyes, they're ultimately a positive force for each others lives. A note on timeline: I'd like if Civil War and Homecoming happened the same as they did in canon (unless prompted otherwise), but beyond that, you can do what you want with canon!

As far as shipping goes, I prefer for Tony and Pepper to at least briefly been together at some point but I'm fine with them never getting back together after Civil War or breaking up in the five year time skip during Endgame. I like all ideas involving how it could cause problems! Does it create a soulbond of some sort? Or maybe he has to touch Peter to feel better and he feels worse if he doesn’t in a certain amount of time? Do they try to deny it until they can’t anymore? Maybe Peter has spent years of his life trying to get Tony back and Tony has feelings about that?

Does Tony come back wrong and without a moral compass? Waiving my manipulation DNW for this one as long as it’s a happy ending. Feel free to look to my noncon/dubcon likes.

Alternatively, I would love fic of Tony trying to pick up the pieces of his life and reconnecting with an older slightly more jaded Peter (maybe he’s had a real rough go of life after FFH?). Time Loops: Peter and Tony must figure out how to stop the cycle (or one of them does). Is it stopped by a confession of feelings, a kiss, or something more? Or is the focus point centered around Peter trying to save Tony or vice versa? I’d love anything from angst to something more lighthearted.

Sex Pollen: I love anything with sex pollen, really. Sex pollen that leads to them confessing their feelings, or one of them is sex pollened and the other isn’t, or the pollen makes the sex really intense, etc.

Friends With Benefits: This could go well with pining and them dancing around admitting their feelings because they assume the other one sees it as just sex. Alternatively, they have unspoken rules about what they won’t do when sleeping together until the line is crossed. Have fun with this!

Betray Them to Save Them: I am absolutely here for the hurt and angst of one betraying the other (or appearing to) while trying to save the other. Anything you can think of would be good and I would love it if the betrayed person believed that they were betrayed for at least a little while. I can also see the Estranged Characters freeform working well paired with this concept.

Sentinels and Guides AU: This AU feels perfect for Peter/Tony and I’d love to see anything involving this tag! I have no preference for who is the Sentinel or Guide but either way sounds like it has lots of potential (and how do Peter’s powers interact if they do at all?). Please feel free to use any trope associated with this AU (animal guides, bonding, heightened senses, etc.).

What I’d like to see in fic: This is my request for complicated and twisted loyalty tropes. I’ll list some ideas below if you’d like to read them. Basically, I’m interested in any variation on the ship! I'm mostly imagining these characters to be at least 18 or older for the "main story" but I wouldn't at all be opposed to scenes of when they're younger (I'd love if they had some sort of past together!). I'm picturing this pairing to be in a fantasy flavored setting but I'm good with just about anything, really.

I’d love to see how the hero and the best friend end up being friends. Did they know each other since childhood, or did the hero save the best friend’s life, or something else? When it comes to the crisis of faith, did the best friend find out that the hero was hiding something from them when they used to share everything (or the best friend thought they did), or betrayed them in some way, or was it more of a realization that the hero is becoming an evil person? Could it be a crisis of morals or a more personal crisis or a mix of either? I’d love to see anything involving the best friend being once blindly devoted to the hero and then dealing with their growing doubt and possible resentment against the hero.

For the hero, were they always inclined to go evil and it’s more of a “the scales are falling from their eyes” set up or is their going evil a more recent development and they were a kinder person (or at least they were to the best friend) a long time ago? Do they genuinely have good intentions or is it more of an excuse to themselves or to the best friend so they can do what they want? I’m good with any take on how good intentioned they really were to begin with. And what are they slipping into evil for anyway? Did they start to doubt the best friend in some way or take advantage and that only increases the chasm between them?

I’m very here for bitter feelings between the two along with any sort of messy miscommunication or growing conflict. Even better if they’re still attached to each other in some way even if they don’t want to be. I’d love seeing any sort of codependency. I’d be happy with any exploration of how their relationship goes, from betrayal from either side, to the best friend deciding to stay loyal to the hero, warts and all, or even them continuing their relationship after a betrayal.

Or maybe they’re superheroes of some kind, they’re in some fantasy war setting, the hero wants to take over the world, or their conflict is more about the relationship itself.

Years later after a betrayal, they meet again when they’re older.

The hero is about to be killed by a group of rebels/bad guys and the best friend steps in to save them.

The best friend gets a perfect opening to kill the hero and then they can’t bring themselves to do it.

They resolve their increasing arguments with sex while ignoring their real problems.

For something happier, they do end up mending their relationship. How does that happen? I’d love to see them growing close again and why the best friend decides to stay loyal to the hero. Or maybe it ends up being happy in a twisted sense (such as both of them being evil together, them deciding they don't want to let go of each other, or something along those lines)?

Corruption Arc: This can refer to the hero but I’d also be interested in seeing the best friend also undergoing it.

The hero decides to kill the best friend to pursue their goals and it turns out that they came back to life for Reasons. Complicated feelings ensue. (Or vice versa!)

In case you're interested in writing smut, I'm perfectly fine with the relationship sliding into darker and messier dubious consent territory. I'm not fussed about where exactly the line is between dubcon and noncon is but would prefer not outright noncon (in the one character tries to out of nowhere rape the other while they're hating it the whole time sense). Anything else is fair game!
